UI/UX and Web Design internship at freelance consultant agency in Berlin

Freelance consulting company based in Berlin is looking for a tech-savvy design intern to help with the user interface of a new digital platform. Great learning potential in a young, international team!

For this internship in Berlin, your base will be Right People Group’s international office in Berlin-Friedrichshain and you will cooperate closely with our CTO who is in charge of the development of a new recruitment platform.

The ideal candidate could be perceiving an education within media, design or human-computer interaction, but most importantly you are tech-savvy, a fast learner and self-driven.

You will join a company with a very flat hierarchy and room to structure your work as it suits you best. We are casual people, but serious about our work and we are looking for colleagues with the same mindset. If this could be you, please read on!

What we offer

As our new tech intern, you will help us develop the user interface of the new platform in Bootstrap and do user testing to ensure a flawless interface design and a user experience.  You will be actively involved in the entire project and get the opportunity to shape the final solution through your feedback and ideas.

As the ideal candidate you have:

• Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS
• An eye for details and design
• Eagerness to learn
• Self-reliance and a can-do attitude

Preferably experience of these concepts and languages (otherwise you will get it during the internship):

• UI/UX Design
• User Testing and Usability Research
• Basic SEO
• Responsive Web Design
• HTML5, CSS3, or SASS
• Bootstrap 4.1
• Vue.js – Template Syntax
• Twig – Template Syntax
• GitHub

This internship presents a great opportunity for someone who is eager to professionalize their interface design and development skills and enhance their business understanding. You will be involved in the strategic development of the platform and apply your design and technical skills to an exciting project.

Starting date: Asap / can be negotiated

Location: Berlin-Friedrichshain

Duration: 3-6 months (over 3 months should be mandatory internships due to German regulation)

Remuneration: 450 Euro/month
