Consultant Task – Test Manager – Greater Copenhagen (22.01.2026)
On behalf of a private client, we are looking for a Senior Test Manager for a bid team.
The Client is preparing a competitive bid and is seeking a Senior Test Manager to be responsible for defining and documenting the test strategy, plan and governance for the proposed infrastructure transition and operation. The role ensures that all transition, operational, security, and resilience testing is credible, complete, and demonstrably aligned with tender requirements and evaluation criteria.
Main Responsibilities and Tasks
Define the end-to-end test strategy covering transition project, steady-state operations, security, resilience, and disaster recovery.
Translate tender requirements into concrete, auditable test approaches and acceptance criteria.
Describe test governance, environments, data, tooling, and defect management processes.
Ensure alignment between testing, service management, security controls, and operational readiness.
Work with architects, operations, and other team members and stakeholders to validate test coverage and realism.
Document test plans, test phases, and quality gates for inclusion in the tender response.
Identify testing risks, assumptions, and dependencies and define mitigation measures.
Ensure test approach supports regulatory compliance, auditability, and service continuity.
Support clarification responses related to testing, acceptance, and transition readiness.
Location: Greater Copenhagen
Workload: Full time until submission of the first bid in April/June. Part time from April/June until end of 2026. Possibly allocation to other bid projects

Language: Fluent in Danish oral and written
Your qualifications
We are looking for a consultant with as many of the following competencies:
Proven experience as Test Manager on large, complex, mission-critical IT infrastructure or national-scale public sector programs.
Demonstrated ownership of test strategies covering infrastructure, operations, and security.
Strong understanding of availability, resilience, failover, disaster recovery, and non-functional testing.
Experience defining acceptance criteria for operational and service-based contracts.
Familiarity with regulated or high-assurance environments.
Ability to produce precise, structured documentation for formal tender evaluation.
Strong stakeholder management skills across technical and operational teams.
Ability to operate under fixed deadlines with high delivery discipline.
Fluent in Danish oral and written
