Consultant Assignment: Jira Developer

About the assignment:
We are looking for an experienced Jira Developer with strong expertise in JavaScript and Node.js to join a global operations team based in Stockholm. The role includes end-to-end ownership of the Atlassian Cloud ecosystem, primarily Jira Service Management, Confluence, Statuspage, and related tools.

You will also own and further develop an integration platform, lead integration initiatives together with partners and customers, and play a key role in ensuring 24/7 operational availability. The work is hands-on and combines platform ownership, development, integration, and operational responsibility in a global environment.

Responsibilities:

• Own and manage the Atlassian Cloud ecosystem (Jira Service Management, Confluence, Statuspage)

• Hands-on configuration and development to support business and operational needs

• Own and drive the platform backlog and continuous process improvements

• Take ownership of the integration platform and lead integration projects with partners and customers

• Implement monitoring and alerting, and participate in incident troubleshooting together with integrated partners

We are looking for someone who has:

• Proven experience with Atlassian Cloud tools (Jira, Jira Service Management, Confluence)

• Strong understanding of workflows, permission schemes, and automation

• Experience with scripting, REST APIs, and integrations

• Solid technical background in JavaScript and Node.js

• Experience with ITSM concepts and support flows

Meriting:

• Experience with ScriptRunner or similar add-ons

• Building Jira Forge apps

• Integrations with BI tools (e.g. Google Looker) for KPIs and dashboards

• Experience managing integrations to third-party ITSM tools

• Atlassian certifications and/or ITIL certification

• Experience with AWS

Additional requirements:

• Commuting distance to Stockholm

• Eligible to work in Sweden
