On behalf of a Norwegian company, we are looking for several Data Engineers to join a pioneering data platform project.

Description of the project:
You will be part of a team focused on building robust insights and data solutions, leveraging cloud-native architecture across distributed domain teams. The project emphasizes Data Mesh principles and involves expanding existing platforms on GCP and Azure, with a strong emphasis on scalability and efficiency.

Description of the most important elements:

- Develop data products/solutions in GCP and other relevant technologies.
- Collaborate with various technical and business environments to understand needs, contribute to solution design, and develop required solutions.
- Work on data integration, APIs, and architecture to ensure data availability with a focus on security and privacy.
- Optimize data processing and insights using tools like dbt, BigQuery, Airbyte, Kafka, Looker, and Kubernetes.
- Implement best practices in security, governance, and compliance in collaboration with dedicated teams.

Location: Fornebu (partial remote work possible)
Workload: Full-time
Start: ASAP
Duration: Until 31.12.2025, with option for extension until 30.06.2026

Your qualifications
We are looking for a consultant with as many of the following competencies:
- Minimum 4-6 years of experience in data engineering, platform development, or cloud-based infrastructure.
- Strong cloud-native mindset and experience with cloud services, preferably GCP, but also Azure, AWS, or equivalent.
- Proficiency in data engineering and platform technologies such as dbt, BigQuery, Airbyte, Kafka, Kubernetes.
- Experience with automation, CI/CD, and DevOps principles.
- Familiarity with BI tools like Looker, PowerBI, or similar.
- Knowledge of security and governance principles (expertise not required, but awareness of golden paths in the field).
- Must be Norwegian and can be security cleared
