Consultant task – Java Developer (Remote), published: 26.11.2024

We are looking for a Java developer with Spring Boot experience. This is an opportunity to work on an important role in client organization. The project focuses on backend development with Java and Spring Boot in microservice -heavy environment.

The software solution itself focuses on text analytics, large language models and customer satisfaction / experience. These areas are not crucial for the role itself. 

The client is looking for an enthusiastic coder. A good attitude and proof of previous work is most important. The main purpose is to work on further development, but some legacy code cleaning is also a part of the responsibility areas.

The ideal situation for the client is to start part-time and find proof of concept for collaboration, after which the workload can be raised higher. 

 

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of professional Java experience
• Focus on backend development
• Spring Boot
• Microservices

Location: Remote (Client based in Finland)
Workload: Part-time (minimum 60% allocation), with an aim to raise towards fulltime
Start: January 25 (earlier start can be discussed)
