On behalf of a Nordic enterprise client, we are looking for an experienced Platform Enablement Engineer for a consultant assignment focused on accelerating platform adoption and developer competence across the organization.

The consultant will play a central role in driving adoption and enhancing competence around the client’s Internal Developer Platform, built on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS). The role involves close collaboration with development and operations teams across Oslo, Stockholm, and Riga, focusing on hands-on enablement, workshops, and knowledge transfer.

Description of the most important elements
- Empower developers and operations teams to adopt Kubernetes-native design patterns.
- Deliver training sessions, workshops, and webinars to accelerate platform adoption.
- Provide technical guidance on designing and migrating .NET applications for Kubernetes.
- Improve internal templates, documentation, and developer experience.
- Advocate for GitOps practices and promote Backstage as the central developer portal.
- Collaborate closely with Platform Engineers and the Developer Experience Lead to ensure alignment and sustainable knowledge transfer.

Your qualifications
We are looking for a consultant with as many of the following competencies:
- 5+ years’ experience designing and deploying .NET applications in Kubernetes environments (.NET Core, .NET Framework, Linux containers)
- Strong understanding of Kubernetes-native design principles and containerized architectures
- Experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), ArgoCD, Azure Key Vault, Prometheus, Loki, and Grafana
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; comfortable leading workshops and technical demos
- Experience with Backstage or similar developer portals
- Familiarity with GitOps workflows and cloud-native best practices
- Willingness to travel within the Nordic region as required
