Zabbix Consultant / Monitoring Specialist Project · 6 months, possibility of extension

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Zabbix consultant for maintenance and minor development tasks. In this role, you will be responsible for the upkeep and development of the Zabbix environment. Zabbix is used to monitor the availability of services — in practice, the core of the role is to ensure that the client's cybersecurity services are running smoothly. The infrastructure is primarily cloud-based, though there is also some physical infrastructure involved.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance and minor development of the Zabbix environment

• Monitoring the availability and functionality of services

• Ensuring monitoring coverage of cybersecurity services

• Developing the environment as needed

Requirements

• Strong experience with Zabbix

• General understanding of IT infrastructure and its monitoring

• Experience with cloud environments

• Ability to work independently without constant guidance — we need someone who takes initiative and gets things done

• Ability to pass a security clearance

• Can be done mostly remotely, one day a month or so in Espoo is a plus
