We are looking for a Progress OpenEdge Developer for our international industry client. If you know your way around Progress ABL (4GL) development, the client team needs you. This is a remote role, allowing you to work from anywhere while collaborating with a dynamic international team. However, being able to make occasional visits to Finland or other Nordic countries is considered a plus.

The client needs with Progress development are mainly in Production and Sales. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and enhance applications using Progress OpenEdge ABL (4GL).
• Work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Optimize and troubleshoot existing applications to ensure performance and reliability.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging processes.
• Document development processes and provide technical support as needed.

Requirements:

• Experience in Progress OpenEdge ABL (4GL) development.
• Good understanding of relational databases.
• Experience working with enterprise applications and integrating them with other systems.
• Good problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote setting.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.
