Senior Mainframe Developers Needed – Banking Industry

We are looking for two Senior Mainframe Developers to join an important project in the banking industry. These roles are crucial to strengthening the mainframe development area due to a current shortage of experienced professionals.

Role: Senior Mainframe Developer

Location: Espoo, Finland (Remote work possible with occasional office visits)
Availability: Full-time, 3-5 days per week
Start Date: April 2025
Duration: Approximately 6 months (may change slightly during the project)

Requirements:

• Strong experience in Mainframe development
• Proficiency in COBOL, JCL, SQL
• Experience with DL1 and DB2 databases
• Prior experience in the banking industry is beneficial
• Fluent in Finnish and English

Responsibilities:

• Develop and enhance mainframe-based applications
• Ensure high-quality code and performance optimization
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define technical requirements
• Contribute to the design and implementation of banking solutions
