Assignment Description
We are looking to strengthen the team with a resource to improve the data quality in selected IT deliveries in the PWP-Fenris development project. We are seeking an ambitious process or mechanical engineer with IT/data engineering skills.
From an IT perspective the role requires a strong interest in data and data science topics.
This role will work in a complex landscape to enhance data delivery across diverse and specialized systems.
There is also a need to develop solutions for assessing and monitoring data quality.
Domain experience and knowledge of offshore processes, requirements and systems in combination with IT competence is required.
Experience from Oil & Gas EPC projects is preferred.
Improving data quality within the EPC area and in particular related to LCI (Life Cycle Information)
Utilise knowledge and experience from engineering (e.g. process and/or mechanical) and combine this with IT experience/competence
Close customer communication, alignment and demand management
Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, industry and company specifications
Drive adoption of specifications, processes, and ways of working towards area of responsibility
Dedicated and professional delivery of services
Qualifications
Minimum bachelor's degree within engineering (process or mechanical
Experience and understanding of LCI information/data (management, use and needs)
Minimum 2-year experience with IT technologies, e.g. experience with some of the following Cloud technologies: T-SQL, Azure Data Factory, REST API, C# and/or database modelling
Good understanding of IT-related processes, requirements, and systems
Engineering education and LCI/technical information understanding
EPC multidiscipline understanding
Data engineer competence/IT technical skills
Demonstrate conceptual understanding of IT solutions and their purposes
Regulatory competence for the petroleum industry
Fluent in Norwegian language, written and spoken
Well above average skills in English, written and spoken
Structured and analytic with problem solving skills
Good communication abilities
Strong collaboration skills
Open minded team player with ability to influence, share knowledge and interface with a wide range of teams / disciplines / strategic partners
Proactive, takes initiative, drives work forward
Flexible and adaptable to handle changing priorities and new tasks
