We are looking for an IT-project Manager with change management experience for our IT-sector client.

The client has recently conducted a broad assessment of their current infrastructure and platform environment. While this assessment provides a high-level view, it is not comprehensive in detail. Some of the proposed actions need further assessment is within the organization; the aim is to refine the current understanding and implement feasible improvements within the organization. To support this initiative, the client is seeking a dedicated project manager. While project and change management is the key aspect to this role, technical understanding is very much helpful in executing it as well.

The initiative is deemed critical within the organization and support from stakeholders is also to be found. The consultant needs to be located within Finland.

Requirements
We are looking for a professional who best matches the following criteria:

• Ability to lead requirement specification work and assess business needs in collaboration with stakeholders, forming a clear project roadmap and a detailed project plan.
• Experience in managing a request for proposal (RFP) process, including defining requirements and engaging with potential partners to support decision-making.
• Experience in driving change initiatives across the organization, with multiple business units involved and differing needs, in accordance with a jointly developed roadmap.
• Strong background in project management, with a proven track record in leading complex IT change initiatives.

Nice-to-haves

• Technical expertise in data center and cloud environments is a big plus.
• The client uses a wide range of tools and technologies including Amazon EKS, ECR, CloudWatch, Secrets Manager, Amazon Route 53, Managed Grafana, AWS LBs, Security Lake, as well as Azure Lighthouse, Sentinel, and Entra. Additional tools include Splunk, Palo Alto, Cortex, and Carbon Black. While deep expertise in these tools is not necessary, it is benefactory to be able to ask the right questions and understand responses at a high level.
