Urgent task – Senior Solution Architect (Espoo or Solna or Oslo), published: 21.11.2024

We are looking for a senior solution architect for our energy sector client. They have been building a harmonized platform for all three Nordic countries (Sweden, Finland, Norway) to replace old country-specific systems. There are approximately 150 people working on the project as a whole and part of it is already live. A competent expert is needed for to ensure successful and efficient launch for two remaining markets.

The need is for an experienced architect that can build a balance between the business requirements, technical implementation and program execution. Main responsibility is to outline and design the solution for client service/product and lead the development/build of the solution, together with the client. The business context is to work in the consumer solutions unit.

These are the main aspects of the role:

• Accountability:
  • Design and lead the implementation of solutions architecture
  • Design and lead the implementation of integrations
  • Align the design with business requirements and business capabilities
  • Consult with applications and infrastructure development (projects) to fit systems to Architecture
  • Keep documentation of solution Architecture up to date
  • Responsible that the solutions follow client cyber security policies, manuals and guidelines
• Planning & Complexity:
  • Provide expert resolution of system/ application issues and monitor integration of work 
  • Design projects requiring systems integration of one or more technical platforms
• People Mgmt. & Relations:
  • Close co-operation with Product Manager
  • Close co-operation with Lead Architect and EA team
• Financial Dimension:
  • Cyber security related budget support

Requirements
• A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or business administration or other relevant area
• Three to five years of relevant experience in IT
• Preferably good understanding of the business/industry
• Technology cyber security architecture knowledge
• Maintain role based cyber security training regularly

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of all components of a technical architecture
• Personal characteristics must enable communication and co-operation with businesspeople. Good co-operation skills are essential
• Cyber security mindset. Follow client cyber security policies, manuals and guidelines
• Language requirement: English and preferably one of the local languages

Deadline: By 26.11.2024
Location: Only partially remote. Must be able to visit client offices either in Espoo, Solna or Oslo
Workload: Fulltime, 7,5 hours per day
