Job Summary
As an Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud solutions on the Oracle Cloud platform. This role requires a strong understanding of cloud architecture, infrastructure management, and security best practices. You will work closely with CloudApps teams to ensure cloud systems are performant, secure, and compliant with industry standards.
This project can be done fully remote.
Key Responsibilities
Design and Deployment — Create and deploy Oracle Cloud Infrastructure solutions tailored to business needs.
System Monitoring — Continuously monitor and maintain cloud systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Security Implementation — Implement robust security measures to safeguard cloud data and applications.
Collaboration — Work closely with CloudApps teams to troubleshoot and resolve cloud-related issues.
Resource Optimization — Optimize cloud resource usage for cost efficiency while maintaining performance standards.
Documentation — Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for cloud infrastructure and operational processes.
Compliance Assurance — Ensure all cloud solutions comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications
Experience: Minimum 2 years working with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
Oracle OCI skills:
Oracle Cloud services: VCN, IAM, Compute, Block Storage, Object Storage, Load Balancers, and Database
Oracle Kubernetes Engine (OKE): pod management and Kubernetes upgrades
Automated deployment with Terraform
Oracle Cloud and container management
Patch management
WAF Firewall
Oracle Data Safe
Oracle Unified Directory Services Manager
Oracle Redis Cluster
Oracle Identity Cloud Service (IDCS)
CI/CD pipelines
Tools: Jenkins, Ansible, Git, Docker, Docker Hub
Scripting: Python, Bash
OCI Monitoring
Oracle Cloud Log Management and Stack Monitoring
Key Soft Skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving ability, excellent communication and collaboration skills, able to work both independently and as part of a team.
