Right People Group is looking for an experienced Senior T24 Architect for a major Core Banking environment within the financial services sector.

The consultant will take a leading architectural role in the evolution and modernisation of a large and complex Temenos T24 / Temenos Transact landscape. The assignment involves defining target architecture, guiding strategic technology decisions and ensuring scalable, resilient and maintainable Core Banking solutions.

The assignment

You will provide end-to-end architectural leadership across several initiatives and delivery streams, working closely with business stakeholders, engineering teams, architects and external partners.

Key responsibilities include:

• Lead and evolve the architecture roadmap for Temenos T24 / Temenos Transact
• Define target-state architecture, architectural principles and standards
• Translate business requirements into robust and implementable solution architectures
• Design integrations between Core Banking and areas such as payments, digital channels, lending, deposits, customer management and data platforms
• Identify interfaces, data flows and dependencies across applications and infrastructure
• Drive modernisation and simplification of the Core Banking ecosystem
• Promote API-first, event-driven and cloud-enabled architecture where appropriate
• Define requirements for availability, security, performance, scalability and resilience
• Assess architectural risks, technical debt and lifecycle concerns
• Guide architecture reviews and ensure alignment with enterprise and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with Product Management, Solution Management, Enterprise Architects, engineering teams and external suppliers

Mandatory requirements

We are looking for a senior architect with:

• Significant experience with Temenos T24 / Temenos Transact in architecture, solution design or senior engineering roles
• Deep understanding of Core Banking processes, platform capabilities and integration dependencies
• Proven experience leading architecture in large-scale transformation, migration or modernisation programmes
• Experience working across multiple teams, products and/or markets in complex enterprise environments
• Strong banking/financial services experience
• Experience with demanding requirements regarding availability, security, resilience and regulatory compliance
• Fluent English

Relevant technical experience includes REST APIs, Microsoft Azure, C#, TypeScript, React and Angular, as well as integration and solution design within financial services.
