We are seeking an experienced Lead Solution Architect / Automation Delivery Lead for a long-term automation initiative.

The client is looking for a senior profile with a strong combination of technical architecture expertise and leadership capabilities. While hands-on experience within automation and infrastructure remains important, the primary focus is on leading a team of Solution Architects, driving technical direction, and ensuring successful delivery across multiple workstreams.

The consultant will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring scalable, secure, and well-governed automation solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of Solution Architects and Automation Engineers
• Drive solution ownership and architectural decisions
• Define and communicate technical strategy and roadmap
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
• Ensure alignment across teams and initiatives
• Support delivery teams in removing technical blockers and mitigating risks
• Establish and promote automation and Infrastructure as Code best practices
• Contribute hands-on when needed while maintaining overall solution ownership

Required Qualifications

• Extensive experience as Solution Architect, Enterprise Architect, or Technical Lead
• Proven track record of leading architecture or engineering teams
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Experience from large and complex enterprise environments
• Solid understanding of automation, infrastructure, and platform engineering
• Experience driving technical change and organizational adoption

Preferred Technical Experience

Experience with several of the following technologies and disciplines:

• Terraform
• Ansible
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• CI/CD and DevOps practices
• Azure or other cloud platforms
• Python or similar scripting languages
• Automation frameworks and governance
• Platform Engineering

• Ability to influence and align stakeholders
• Strategic mindset combined with pragmatic execution
• Comfortable working across both business and technology domains
• Strong communication skills in English
