Background
Our client is undergoing a large-scale digital transformation. This includes implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 and D365 F&O, related integrations, and establishing Azure as the central integration layer.
With multiple concurrent initiatives and limited internal capacity, our client is seeking an experienced Integration Architect / Developer to strengthen their ability to design, implement, and govern scalable integrations across the Finance ecosystem. The role combines architectural leadership with hands-on delivery, with a primary focus on Azure Integration Services and integrations across D365 F&O and other finance systems.
Scope and key responsibilities
- Review, define, and drive the Finance integration architecture roadmap towards Azure
- Support migration from legacy middleware (TIBCO) to Azure Integration Services
- Lead and support solution design for integrations across Finance applications and initiatives, including D365 F&O, Unit4 Financials, Treasury systems, and other Finance applications
- Lead and support integration activities for ongoing e-invoicing initiatives
- Provide hands-on solution design and development for Azure integrations, including Logic Apps, API Management, Functions, and related services
Required skills
- Senior Integration Developer / Architect with 7+ years of relevant experience
- Strong experience and deep knowledge of Azure Integration Services, including Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Service Bus, Event Grid, and API Management
- Deep understanding of D365 F&O integration patterns, including Business Events, OData / custom services, and Data Management Framework
- Strong API design and management experience, including REST APIs, OpenAPI specifications, versioning strategies, and API lifecycle management via Azure APIM
- Experience working with event-driven and message-based architectures, APIs, and asynchronous processing
- Good understanding and application of integration security, including OAuth2 / Entra ID authentication, managed identities, API security, and secure handling of keys and certificates
- Strong understanding of finance processes, including O2C, P2P, and Treasury flows
- Experience with EDI invoice formats, including EDIFACT, and e-invoicing formats and flows, including Peppol
- Ability to combine architectural thinking with hands-on delivery
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
