Consultant Task – Developer (JavaScript, Node.js, Salesforce) (Remote), published: 17.1.2025

We are looking for a developer for our client who provides investment banking services.

This project is mostly about debugging an existing customized system built on the Salesforce platform. The client's number one priority is to fix some everyday functionalities they use. 

The bugs have already been identified, and the client has a list ready to go through as per fixable areas. The consultant then has to address the root causes and development. 

It is important to note that in this role, the consultant is the sole responsible for any code changes. There is no development team to support the tasks.

After the debugging project is done, there is a chance to continue with the new development. This, however, is not in the scope of the 1-2 months duration of this project description. Some of the new features / development tasks would include:
- Possibility to create tasks in the current system
- Possibility to create comments / notes 
- E-sign feature
- Integrate with 3rd party software
- Create a watermark feature

Requirements:

• Apex / Salesforce development skills
• JavaScript / TypeScript
• Node.js
• Java skills are seen as beneficial and not mandatory
