Consultant Task | Database Expert – Mainframe DB2 Optimization, Remote / Espoo

We are looking for an experienced Database Expert to optimize the clients mainframe DB2 databases, focusing on enhancing the efficiency of their payment applications. In this role, deep knowledge of the payment domain is not required. Instead, we value strong expertise in:

•                    Reviewing and optimizing SQL queries to improve performance

•                    Monitoring DB2 database performance and identifying potential bottlenecks

•                    Analyzing system metrics to proactively address performance issues

The ideal candidate will have a solid background in DB2 performance tuning, a keen eye for identifying optimization opportunities, and strong analytical skills to ensure the reliability and efficiency of our critical systems.

Location: Hybrid, Espoo onsite
Workload: 100%, part time possible

Duration: 4 months
