About the assignment:
We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to take technical ownership of a modern Data Hub platform built in Microsoft Fabric.

You will become a key part of a small and autonomous team focused on building scalable, production-ready data platforms that enable data-driven product teams and business decisions.

The assignment includes development of a Bronze → Silver → Gold lakehouse architecture, implementation of data quality and monitoring mechanisms, and working with modern Azure-based data platforms and event-driven integration patterns.

We are looking for someone who:
• Has strong hands-on experience with PySpark, Spark SQL, and Delta Lake
• Has worked with Microsoft Fabric and/or Azure Databricks in production environments
• Has experience with Azure Synapse and modern Azure Data Platform solutions
• Has experience with CI/CD and version control using GitHub Actions
• Understands data products, domain ownership, and operating pipelines in production
• Has solid knowledge of data modelling and database design
• Is self-sufficient, communicative, and comfortable working in cross-functional teams
• Has experience with event-driven solutions and real-time ingestion patterns (Event Hubs is a strong plus)

Meritorious:
• Experience with streaming architectures and real-time data processing
• Experience with security, compliance, and access control within data platforms
• Experience documenting data flows, pipelines, and technical solutions
