Role Summary

We are seeking a Technical Architect with deep expertise in Java‑based applications hosted on Microsoft Azure to assess the current application and integration landscape, identify improvement opportunities, and define a phased, low‑risk transformation roadmap. The role focuses on improving architecture, reliability, and scalability without destabilizing existing systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and assess existing Java applications and integration architecture.
• Analyse current integrations, dependencies, and data flows across systems.
• Identify architectural risks, bottlenecks, and technical debt.
• Define a clear architecture roadmap aligned to business priorities.
• Create a prioritised list of changes with minimal disruption to live systems.
• Recommend incremental improvements that avoid breaking existing functionality.
• Work closely with stakeholders to agree on sequencing and approach.
• Provide architectural governance, design reviews, and technical guidance during implementation.
• Ensure solutions follow Azure and Java best practices for security, performance, and resilience.

Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ experience as a Technical / Solution Architect for enterprise applications.
• Deep understanding of Java application architecture.
• Experience working with Microsoft Azure environments.
• Strong ability to manage technical dependencies and backward compatibility.
• Excellent communication skills to translate technical recommendations into business‑friendly roadmaps.
