Consultant Task – Network Engineer (Belgium / Netherlands / France / Germany), published: 10.01.2025

We are looking for a network engineer with existing security clearance and a Cisco certification (Cisco Certified Network Professional [CCNP] Routing & Switching OR CCNP Enterprise of Alcatel Certified Field Expert [ACFE]).

In the context of an Aruba network implementation at a major project located in the neighbourhood of Brussels, we search for a Network Engineer to reinforce our customer team. 

The engineer will be the main technical point of contact for the aspects related to the implemented Aruba hardware.

In addition, the network engineer must have good knowledge of Aruba's product range or hands-on experience in Cisco Campus solutions.

Unfortunately, we cannot consider anyone without the requested level of security clearance as that will take too long to get through. Please let us know whether you have the proper clearance level or not.

Requirements:
- Candidate needs to have at least 2 of the 3 specified clearances:

- National secret
- Nato secret
- EU secret

- Citizenship: European citizenship required
- Languages: English + some knowledge of French or Dutch preferred
- Certifications:

- Mandatory: Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Routing & Switching OR CCNP Enterprise of Alcatel Certified Field Expert (ACFE)
- Nice to have or ready to acquire : ACP-CA: Aruba Certified Professional – Campus Access
- Nice to have or ready to acquire : ACP-NS: Aruba Certified Professional – Network Security

Location: Mostly remote (At least 1 day onsite in the Brussels area, rest from remote (preferably in or close to Belgium)
Workload: Fulltime or part-time as per availability
Start: January or February 2025 (negotiable)
Duration: 12+ months
Language: Fluent English
