I’m Sebastiano Piccinno – the Consultant Manager for the Italian market at Right People Group.

When the customer’s request is aimed at a specific competence, the process itself is very similar in every case. The work becomes interesting when it is my personal support that becomes a fundamental contribution in defining the necessary profile.
A specific case concerns the development of a particular form of machine learning that my client intended to integrate with a proprietary software. Here, the process required not only to define the necessary skills but also the definition of the entire project phase step by step, in synergy with the fantastic consultant who decided to collaborate with me on this project.
My work is full of daily challenges. Many requests to handle with tight deadlines. My network and the quality of the relationships I hold every day is the solution to most of my daily challenges.
The profile of the consultants that I contact every time is always very similar. We are talking about professionals who have followed a path of exceptional professional growth, and distinguishing them in terms of quality of competence is very difficult since they are all extremely prepared. What causes the choose of a consultant rather than another, depends more than anything on a personal feeling. You realize that you are dealing with the “right person” when you feel a person’s deep interest in the work environment that is presented to him. Many times, the motivation that drives a consultant to apply for a position is the factor that ensures success in managing the project.
Normally I base it on the entity of the project, preferring projects with certain temporal visibility. Then there are other factors such as the commitment to see if the customer is taking the suggested profiles seriously, while avoiding those who just want an overview of information.The definition of the role, the tasks, and the project are also an important factor to make the decision. The more detailed a project is, the more targeted and easily accessible the research is. Then there are cases for which none of these conditions seems to be respected and yet the project intrigues and stimulates me the idea of having been an active part in its realization.
I am satisfied with my work when all parties are happy. When the client finds a collaborator who can provide a valid contribution and, at the same time, the consultant starts working on a project that is stimulating for him and that can contribute further professional growth.
My biggest business success is exactly what I have created and done to date. A solid network of collaborators is always available to evaluate a new project and always happy to be contacted and taken into consideration or even involved to receive their opinion.
What I highly appreciate about my work is to share the same professional values, efficiency, and transparency, which are also the main values of our company. In addition to this, surely the pleasant feeling of having succeeded in satisfying the needs of a customer who approaches me in need of support for a project.
