On behalf of a private sector client, we are looking for a senior SAP S/4HANA Asset Management functional architect lead to join an S/4HANA transformation programme.

The client has spent the past four years preparing for a large-scale S/4HANA brownfield conversion, scheduled for October 2027. An implementation partner joins the programme in September 2026, and an internal programme organisation, combining IT staff, external consultants and business representatives, is being built up to work alongside them.

The consultant will act as Plant Maintenance and Asset Management architect within the programme, guiding logistics-related migration topics, assessing simplification items across PM, MM and EAM, and designing solutions for custom code and integration questions in the logistics and PM space. The role also involves coaching logistics stakeholders on S/4HANA capabilities and helping keep the conversion strictly within scope.

We're looking for a senior architect and functional lead with at least eight years of SAP logistics experience, including S/4HANA, and a relevant professional certification. Strong hands-on or architectural experience with PM, MM, LE and LO is essential, with particular depth in the EAM part of PM. The ideal candidate is comfortable orchestrating architecture work across a complex organisation and brings strong stakeholder management skills.

Your qualifications

We are looking for a consultant with the following qualifications:

• 8+ years of SAP logistics experience, including S/4HANA, with a relevant professional certification
• Deep understanding of S/4HANA simplification items
• Strong hands-on or architectural experience with PM, MM, LE and LO, especially the EAM part of PM
• Experience with SAP ECC, S/4HANA and the SAP Activate methodology
• Proven experience orchestrating architecture work across complex organisations
• Strong stakeholder management skills
