Consultant task – SAFe & Kanban Scrum Master (Helsinki/Remote), published 23.11.2022

We are looking for a Scrum Master for a customer in the financial sector.

Scrum Masters assist teams in meeting delivery goals. In this role Scum Master will also coach teams in self-organization and self-management and help them coordinate and participate in Agile Release Train (ART) events, increasing the effectiveness of SAFe across the organization. The consultant will perform the role of Scrum Master to dedicated Scrum teams and will work closely with Release Train Engineers and team Product Owners.

As a part of this role Scrum Master:

• Coaches the team in agility
• Facilitates team’s agile ceremonies
• Facilitates team’s progress towards team goals
• Coordinates with other teams
• Removes impediments when outside of the team’s own capabilities
• Finds ways to improve team efficiency
• Protects the team from external interferences as much as possible
• Coaches the team to find ways to improve its work
• Ensures that team level agile method is followed
• Co-operates with Release Train Engineers to align the way of working

Requirements:

• Previous experience working in a Scrum Master role
• Experience of guiding and coaching the scrum team on how to use agile practices and values
• Experience with SAFe & Kanban mandatory
• Experience of removing impediments
• Ability to facilitate agile ceremonies
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Fluency in written and spoken English

Location: Helsinki (Hybrid model) Working on-site at least one day a week preferred.
Workload: 100 %
Start: December / January (December preferred)
