We are seeking one Senior Data Engineer to support the design, development, and operation of modern, scalable data platforms. The role requires strong hands-on experience and the ability to work closely with business and analytics teams to deliver reliable, high-quality data solutions. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Data Pipeline Development
• Design, develop, and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines
• Integrate data from multiple sources (APIs, databases, cloud platforms) 

Data Infrastructure & Architecture 

• Build and manage data warehouses, data lakes, and analytics platforms
• Optimize data models for performance, scalability, and usability
• Collaborate with architects to define and follow data architecture standards 

Data Quality & Validation 

• Implement data validation, testing, and monitoring mechanisms
• Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across platforms
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve data-related issues 

Security & Compliance 

• Ensure data handling complies with security, privacy, and regulatory requirements
• Implement access controls, encryption, and secure data patterns
• Support audit and compliance activities as required 

Collaboration & Support 

• Work closely with Data Scientists, Analysts, and Business Units to understand data needs
• Provide technical support and guidance on data-related topics
• Document data flows, schemas, pipelines, and processes 

Required Skills & Qualifications 

• Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and/or Scala
• Hands-on experience with Azure data platforms, including Azure Synapse and Microsoft Fabric
• Active, hands-on experience with Databricks (development, pipelines, and optimization)
• Experience with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or AWS Redshift is a plus
• Familiarity with orchestration and transformation tools ADF (alt Airflow, dbt)
• Solid understanding of data modelling and database design
• Experience with version control and CI/CD practices in MS dev/ops
• Knowledge of Azure cloud services (AWS and GCP are a plus)

• Senior-level profile with proven hands-on delivery experience
• Able to work independently and take technical ownership
• Strong communication skills and experience working in cross-functional teams
