On behalf of a private sector client, we are looking for an experienced Master Data Consultant to support a large SAP S/4HANA programme.

The consultant will work closely with the client's internal Data Governance Lead to analyse the main master data domains, covering finance, assets, materials, vendors and employees. The work involves mapping the business challenges caused by poor master data, tracing their root causes and assessing maturity across governance, data standards, maintenance processes and system support. The end result is a roadmap for each domain, with concrete clean-up recommendations both before and after the move to S/4HANA.

The client is looking for a senior profile who is comfortable presenting strategy to senior management and can turn recommendations into practical delivery plans. A background as a management consultant or in a management role is an advantage.

Your qualifications
We are looking for a consultant with the following qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience with master data management or related areas
• Hands-on experience with master data in SAP
• Experience delivering strategy and roadmap recommendations to senior management and translating them into actionable delivery plans
• Technical understanding of blocking, deletion and archiving of master data in SAP
• Strong stakeholder management and business process understanding
