On behalf of a private sector client, we are looking for a senior Markit EDM consultant to strengthen a team that delivers market and reference data to the client's investment and risk systems.

The team runs the data flows that feed SimCorp Dimension and other downstream systems. The consultant will work hands-on with the existing EDM solution: fixing known issues in the parties, static data and override flows from Refinitiv DataScope Select, improving the issuer and security rating flows, and building or adjusting EDM GUI solutions. The work also covers troubleshooting the platform's core components and setting up control and clean-up jobs. Documenting the changes and sharing knowledge with the team is part of the job.

The client is looking for an experienced specialist who gets up to speed quickly, works independently after a short introduction and delivers concrete results from the start. The consultant plans their own work and knows when to bring in the team's specialists.

Your qualifications
We are looking for a consultant with the following qualifications:

• Hands-on experience developing, troubleshooting and running Markit EDM solutions, including EDM GUI
• In-depth knowledge of Refinitiv DataScope Select, including static data, issuers/entities, ratings, report templates and instrument/entity lists
• Technical experience with EDM components such as message queues, event watchers, process locks and rule builders, as well as the CADIS_SYS schema
• Experience mastering market and reference data for downstream systems in the financial sector, preferably SimCorp Dimension
• Independent, structured and analytical with clear communication towards both business and technical colleagues
• Professional English, written and spoken
