On behalf of a client, we are looking for an experienced Solution Architect with a focus on applications and infrastructure. The consultant will set the architectural direction for a portfolio of products and shape solution roadmaps together with product managers, Product Owners and fellow architects.

The work involves turning requirements into scalable solutions, weighing architecture options and recommending the best route based on both business and technical needs. The consultant makes sure solutions meet the relevant standards and compliance requirements, and keeps key documentation up to date, including SADs, ADRs, reference architectures and diagrams. The role also includes guiding product teams on technical decisions and acting as the go-to person when architecture issues need escalating.

We are looking for a structured, strategic architect with experience from large matrix organisations who can explain complex architecture so everyone can follow.

Your qualifications
We are looking for a consultant with the following qualifications:

• Solid experience as a Solution Architect within applications and infrastructure
• Experience with architecture processes and artefacts such as roadmaps, SADs, ADRs and reference architectures
• Experience defining standards, design principles and technology choices, and working with enabler epics and features
• Experience from large matrix organisations and global collaboration across teams
• Strong communication skills and the ability to simplify complex architecture
• Structured and strategic team player
