We’re looking for a QA Automation Test Engineer for our team of API and software developers that is supporting The Client’s journey of digital innovation and transformation.
Who are you?
You are a QA Automation Test Engineer specialized in designing testing procedure for software applications such as Web, App and API’s. You have specific experience of working in cloud environments, microservices and continuous integration/continuous deployment. You are a team player with focus on solutions, and you enjoy working in a communicative team. Also you are fluent in English, any Scandinavian language is a plus.

Technologies, Skills & Experiences
- Selenium, Cypress or other similar frameworks
- Java, C#, Javascript, Python
- Appium
- Postman, Soap UI (SOAP and REST)
- Experience from manual testing of APIs
- Experience from automated testing of APIs
- Experience from manual testing of Web applications
- Experience from automated testing of Web applications
- Experience from manual testing of native mobile apps (iOS & Android)
- Experience from automated testing of native mobile apps (iOS & Android)
- Experience from working with applications deployed in Microsoft Azure
- Experience from testing applications with a Micro Services Architecture
- CI/CD: Octopus Deploy, Azure DevOps, TeamCity, BitBucket, Git
- Advanced programming skills including automation systems and databases.
- Agile and lean values
- Experience working as tester on at least one large scale cloud-based implementation of complex web/api/e-commerce solution
- Experience working in Agile team and agile tools like JIRA, Confluence
- Knowledge of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery processes and tools
- Experience of performance testing (e.g knowledge of tools like APICA or similiar)
- Experience of automation of Front-end with test frameworks (e.g Selenium, Appium)
- The ability of writing well-formed test reports/test cases, and experience of doing manual testing
- Worked as tester in Agile projects (SCRUM, Kanban)
What you will do?
- In this role you will be responsible for both manual and automated testing related to the API
- You will be working closely with the Scrum Master, Product Owner and developers to identify functional and non-functional requirements
- Ownership of adding test cases, scenarios to the stories along with acceptance criteria
- Running test packs, suites and continuously updating them with changes in requirements
- Develop and further build out our automation test suites for our API platform and it’s consumers
- Design, develop and maintain automation test suites for our API’s
- Identify weaknesses and target areas
- Sketching out ideas for automated test procedures
- Identifying quality issues and creating test reports
- Work closely with Developers, DevOps Engineer and business owners to ensure the quality and the future of our API platform
- Drive automation of processes
- Have a strong focus on security in the QA process
- Collaborating with the team to solve application faults
