Consultant Task – Robotics engineer, Copenhagen (15.09.2021)

For a Danish client we are looking for a competent robotics engineer with experience in low-level programming in Linux systems and ROS as well as in implementing complex robotic software solutions in Python.

The consultant tasks will be designing and implementing mobile robot navigation algorithms in ROS Gazebo and integrating it with real hardware. Testing and verifying simulation worlds in Gazebo and validate the implemented solution. Possibly also refactoring and optimizing code into production quality implementations.

The consultant should be competent in electronics and software integration into real mobile robot hardware and be able to integrate with computer vision system of mobile robot.
The ideal candidate also has a background in deep learning and knowledge about behavior tree and state machine.

It is an advantage to have C++ skills and experience in optimizing URDF Arduino and DC Motor Control programming.

  • ROS experience with system integration of both hard- and software
  • Experience with low level programming in Linux systems
