Meet Ivana Frost Gasheva, our newly appointed Head of Remote Sourcing

We are excited to introduce our newly appointed Head of Remote Sourcing, Ivana Frost Gasheva. This position was created in response to the increasing popularity of remote work and our desire to provide the best remote IT consultants to our new and existing clients.

In this role, Ivana will be managing all aspects of our remote sourcing initiatives. We sat down with her to learn a little bit more about her and her plans for the remote IT consultant market.

Tell us about your journey to becoming Right People Group’s Head of Remote Sourcing

I started my career in 2011 as an IT recruiter for a US-based company. At the time, I was on maternity leave with my eldest daughter. Being able to work remotely was very important to me at that time so I applied for remote roles where I could be involved. 

I’ve experienced remote work in different markets and teams, encountered different cultures, and learned a lot, and I’m seeing a growing demand for remote workers on the market, especially in the last 3 years since COVID happened. There is a huge need to expand our offering with sourcing remote consultants for our clients and I’m here to help Right People Group do that. 

What do you expect the IT industry’s workforce to look like in the next few years?

Honestly, this is a very tricky question at this time, because we never know what tomorrow brings. But for sure:

  • More employees will be working from home.
  • Offices are going to be hubs of innovation and social interaction.
  • Companies will continue striving to increase diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Flexible working hours will be the norm.
  • Companies will invest more in health and safety.
  • Companies will have to rethink how to integrate people with machines as technology continues to transform rapidly.

From your experience with Right People Group so far, what do you think makes us a good partner for finding remote external workers?

What are you most eager to accomplish in your role as Head of Remote Sourcing at Right People Group?

I am eager to build on the company’s existing successes in this area and to expand our reach into new markets.

My top priority will be to ensure that our remote sourcing team is able to source the best talent from around the world. I am confident that we have the right team in place to do this, and I am committed to supporting them in their efforts. I believe that by focusing on finding the best talent, we will be able to continue to grow our business and achieve our goals.

I am also excited to work with our clients to help them find the right candidates for their needs. I believe that by working closely with our clients, we can ensure that they are getting the best possible value from our services. I am looking forward to helping Right People Group continue to be a leader in the remote sourcing industry.

What are some of your favorite things to do in your free time?

My family and friends have always been very patient and supportive, and when we have time, I enjoy turning them into guinea pigs for my experimental recipes.

Alsoooooo… Traveling! This helps me connect with new people, which helps to improve my interpersonal skills. We meet people from various races, and regions. It helps us to understand their background and connect with them. This acquired skill helps when we work with a distributed global team. Traveling makes me independent and builds my confidence. It’s like food for the soul which is necessary to de-stress and then get back to my day job with new renewed vigor. After a year full of work, projects, ratings, traffic, and tensions, travel is like a fresh dose of much-needed oxygen
