Consultant task – Senior Manager, PMO (Remote), published: 11.01.2021

We are looking for an interim project professional (Senior PMO Manager) for a minimum 6-month internal IT-industry client project. This project can be done remotely either from Finland, Sweden, or the UK. In this important group-level role, you will be responsible to develop and direct the strategic planning of multiple projects specifically managed through the GLT Strategic Alignment. You are to oversee the coordination of personnel and resources required to successfully complete projects.

Your tasks
The main tasks are to do:
– Support the Group Leadership Team in managing specific projects through the Strategic Alignment
– Functionally work and align with the PMO organization
– Ensure available resources and investments including development model improvements
– Project budgeting process management, investment follow up and reporting
– Monitoring build progress, overseeing finance, and ensuring project quality
– Meeting with clients, stakeholders, and project managers to report on project progress
– Liaising with clients and building strong working relationships
– Devising cost-effective plans to enable effective project completion
– Identification and Managing risks to avoid delays or reputational damage

Your qualifications
The main requirements for this role are:
– BSc or MSc in Economics or Finance
– Project Management Qualifications
– Minimum 5 years of similar work experience and duties
– Skills in resource management
– Skills in investment management
– Skills in strategy and operating model development
– Skills in reporting and presentation
– Skills in continuous improvement

Location: Project can be done remotely either from Finland, Sweden, or the UK
Work: Fulltime
Start date: ASAP
Duration: 6-month contract at first
Language: Fluent English required
